At Midpoint International (MI), we are committed to “doing what’s right” for our valued clients and for our environment. We are a company that is solely focused and committed to reducing solid waste and increasing the value associated to recycling practices throughout the world. We take pride in sourcing the most environmentally responsible raw materials for all of our manufactured products by only selecting materials with the highest recycled content currently available in the market place.

An excellent example of this can be found in our R2 Recycled Recycler™ product line which uses 98% recycled high density polyethylene to create the plastic lumber used in the recycling and waste containers, bins and cabinets. At Midpoint we think beyond the typical 3R’s. We think in terms of the 6R’s: Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Re-manufacture, Respect.
Rethink: Constantly strive to improve the effectiveness of recycling initiatives for all parties involved. Strive for Win/Win’s every day.
Reduce: Do more by using less. Less material in our products, better utilization of our cut-offs and scrap, less paper to communicate with our clients and internal processes.
Reuse: Create products that are designed to be re-purposed. Garbage cans that evolve into multi-stream recycling centers, entry level products that can later be incorporated into a sophisticated waste management systems.
Recycle: Reclaim and capture everything that can be recycled or composted and provide clients with an end of life means of disposing of our products in order to ensure that all components can be recycled to create new products.
Re-manufacture: Create closed loop processes where ever possible ensuring that raw and finished goods materials can be reused to re-manufacture products. This will always ensure the highest level of return for recycled content.
Respect: Think “What’s best” and “What’s Right”, rather than what will make a quick sale or a quick profit. Responsible recycling is respectful of our planet.
